Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Selected as First Term Airman of the Year at Eglin Air Force Base. Received the Air Force Commendation Medal.

Kevin met his wife of 41 years, Dawne, while they were both serving in the Air Force.

Graduated from the University of Florida, Fisher School of Accounting. President of International Business Fraternity at UF which was named as the National Most Improved Chapter.

Special Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation Division. Conducted numerous complex financial investigations in the areas of Organized Crime, Public Corruption, International Money Laundering, and Counterterrorism. Assisted 12 foreign governments, including Russia and its former republics, in developing their Money Laundering laws and strategies. Provided Kenya and Azerbaijan with Counterterrorism training. Promoted up through the ranks to Senior Management. Responsible for the development and implementation of district investigative strategy and budget. Retired after 22 years of service.

Regional and National Sales Executive for 8 years for companies, including two Fortune 500 companies, which provided investigative information solutions to Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agencies.

Councilman on the Brooksville City Council from 2011-14. Served as Mayor in 2014.
