Hernando County needs a commissioner who will understand the true goal of public service is about being accountable to our entire community, not just a chosen few. I vow to serve selflessly, and will seek, listen to, and act upon your concerns.

Our next county commissioner must have the educational, work and government experience to understand the complex issues our growing community faces. As a graduate of the University of Florida Fisher School of Accounting, who served for 22 years in Federal Law Enforcement investigating complex financial crimes and public corruption, I have a unique skillset to tackle the tough financial circumstances in which our county has found itself embroiled. My successful term as Mayor of Brooksville also provides me with a stronger understanding of the intricacies of local and county government operations.

You deserve a county commissioner who will do more than simply seek headlines, but instead create REAL progress for our county. You’ve asked for more jobs and growth for our community; I won’t just talk about it but will deliver results. You’ve asked for safer streets and neighborhoods for you and your family; as a former law enforcement officer, I won’t just talk tough, but deliver a safer community. I will be an advocate for law enforcement rather than an adversary. I believe results are better than rhetoric, and as your commissioner, I’ll deliver for you.

Our community boasts some of the smartest, hardest working residents in the state, and we deserve a full complement of elected officials who have the moral strength and ethical discipline to do the right thing for our fellow citizens. From Timber Pines to Ridge Manor, and anywhere in between, if you see one of your elected officials, you shouldn’t be compelled to laugh disappointingly, but instead smile with pride, knowing we are home to serious-minded public servants who care. We must do better. With your help electing me as our next commissioner, we will do better.
